2. The use of environmental and working conditions
2.1 The elevation of the installation site shall not exceed 1000m, and the ambient temperature shall not exceed 40 ° C (if this requirement is exceeded, special design can be carried out).
2.2 Operating environment, the relative humidity is 100%, the environment is +40ºC to -25ºC(-25C with on-load switch and temperature controller requirements).
2.3 This product is generally indoor, and the installation site should be clean with no electric dust, no corrosive gas, and have good ventilation conditions. If the installation is in the basement or other places with poor ventilation, the problem of forced ventilation should be considered. 5.1 Temperature Display and Control System

The system is designed to initiate fan operation or halt power supply when the coil's internal temperature surpasses predefined limits, effectively safeguarding the transformer.
5.2 Cooling System
The cooling method employed by our product is air natural cooling (AN), guaranteeing 100% output capacity.; Moreover, forced air circulation cooling (AF) allows for a remarkable 25% long-term and 50% short-term overload capability.
5.3 Protection Level
The standard protection level for this transformer is IP00, which is ideal for indoor settings without an external shell. For indoor use; itcan be equipped with a protective shell,ifdesired by the user, providing IP20 or IP23 protection. Note that a higher protection level may necessitate capacity adjustments during operation.
IP20 housings prevent objects larger than 12mm from entering, thus offering a secure environment. The IP23 upgrade enhances safety by preventing water droplets from entering at a 60° angle.


6. Product Packaging and Transportation
6.1 Products are available in two varieties: open type (without protective cover) and protected type (with a protective shell), suitable for railway, waterway, and highway transportation, with options for partial disassembly transportation. Components like on-load tap changers, temperature controllers, air cooling devices, and protective covers can be packaged separately or transported as a whole. Utilize cranes, winches, or compatible machinery for lifting and unloading.
6.2 To combat the elements during transit, ensure the product is fully covered with waterproof cloth to avert rain damage.
6.3 When hoisting packed products, secure the rope to the sleeper's bottom corners. Elevate products 100mm-150mm with a specialized lifting device, and proceed with lifting once stability is confirmed.
6.4 During transport, maintain the slope of transportation lines under 15° to evenly distribute weight. The product's center of gravity should align with the vehicle's vertical center line to prevent shifting. Securely fasten the product to the transport vehicle, aligning its long axis with the direction of travel to thwart displacement and toppling.

Additionally, for products equipped with a trolley, the roller axle can be ingeniously adjusted by 90° to facilitate seamless horizontal or vertical movement, enhancing versatility in product placement.
6.7 Once the product arrives at its destination, minimizing the time it remains in transit condition is crucial, especially when exposed to open air. Ideally, the product should be stored in a covered, dry, and well-ventilated environment prior to installation. Safeguarding the product from mechanical damage and contamination is a top priority.

7. Inspection and Acceptance
7.1 Upon receiving the product, the user should promptly open the shell to conduct a thorough inspection and acceptance. Verify that all items listed in the packing list are present, and meticulously check the transformer for any transportation damage, displacement, or damage to product parts, fasteners' looseness, insulation integrity, and cleanliness of the coil surface.
7.2 Ensure that the details on the product nameplate match the user's specified product specifications, including capacity, voltage level, connection group label, and short-circuit impedance.

9. Inspection and Tests Before Operation
9.1 Accurately measure the DC resistance of both high and low voltage windings, ensuring the results align with the factory test certificate data.
9.2 Verify the iron core grounding, typically located at the lower or upper iron yoke ends, to ensure reliable grounding. Check for any other unnecessary body laps and avoid multiple groundings, which could compromise safety.
9.3 Conduct an insulation resistance test

10, Network operation
10.1 Ensure that the grounding and qualification of all attached protection devices and monitoring systems are certified. Initially, the transformer operates under no-load conditions. Post three cycle shock closing, proceed to check and finetune the protection system to perfection.
10.2 Upon product delivery, connect the voltage regulation tap of the HV side as per the rated position. During operation, any necessary voltage adjustments can be made by aligning the tapping connection with the voltage indicated on the nameplate. Ensure that voltage modifications only occur when the transformer power supply is safely disconnected.
10.3 This transformer utilizes the advanced BWDK series temperature controller. The temperature sensing device is strategically located at the top of the low-voltage coil, providing real-time monitoring and display of each three-phase coil's temperature. When the temperature breaches the preset threshold, the system automatically engages the fan, ceases fan operation, and can initiate alarms or trips. Users can tailor the temperature settings following the thermostat's manual guidance.

11. Maintenance
After a suitable operation period, power down the dry transformer for essential inspections and maintenance procedures.
11.1 Examine the coil, iron core, wire sealing, tap-connecting terminals, and fasteners across different sections for any signs of damage, deformation, looseness, discoloration, overheating, or corrosion. Immediate checks and corrective actions are warranted for any abnormalities detected.
11.2 Carefully dust off the transformer. Surfaces that can be hand-wiped should be cleaned with a dry cloth, avoiding volatile cleaners. Areas within the iron core coil that are difficult to reach should be cleaned using compressed air for a thorough cleanse.
11.3 For transformers equipped with fans, ensure all dust and soil accumulations in the fan are meticulously removed (caution to prevent fan blade deformation). Check the fan bearing's grease, replenishing or replacing it when necessary for continued optimal performance.
11.4 After completing the meticulous inspection and necessary maintenance, it's crucial to exercise heightened vigilance. Before reintegrating the transformer into operational status, ensure an exhaustive check to ascertain that no metal or non-metal foreign objects have infiltrated or remain lodged within the coil, iron core, or insulation components.


12. Security matters
12.1 It is essential that the power supply for the temperature controller (and fan) is sourced through the switch panel, rather than a direct connection to the transformer. 12.2 Prior to activating the transformer, a thorough inspection of the grounding system within the transformer room is paramount, to ensure everything is securely in place.
12.3 Ensure the transformer shell door is securely closed at all times to maintain utmost safety in electrical usage.
12.4 Implement robust measures to prevent small animals from gaining entry into the transformer room, thereby averting potential mishaps.
12.5 Personnel entering the transformer room must don insulating footwear and remain vigilant about maintaining a safe distance from live components, strictly avoiding any contact with the transformer.
12.6 Should there be a sudden surge in transformer noise, immediate action is required. Monitor the transformer's load and the power grid voltage closely, and enhance vigilance over the temperature variations. Promptly seek consultation with skilled personnel when necessary.
12.7 Conduct a comprehensive examination of the transformer every 3-5 years, and consider performing preventive tests during these intervals to ensure continued efficiency and safety.
12.8 The installation, testing, operational procedures, and maintenance of transformers are tasks that must be carried out exclusively by qualified professionals, to guarantee safety and reliability.
